Vinicius Jr Offers Regret to Los Blancos Supporters
The forward has netted five goals in 10 Spanish league outings this season.
The Madrid giants winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to the fanbase for his conduct when replaced in the recent heated match against Barcelona win.
He was replaced in the second half and displayed his frustration by going straight to the dressing room.
He later returned to the dugout and, following his team's 2-1 win, tried to confront Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury post-match incidents.
"Today I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was substituted in the derby," he wrote on X.
"Just as I have already done during this morning's training, I also want to say sorry once more to my teammates, the team, and the president.
"Sometimes passion takes over me because I always want to triumph and support my side. My winning mentality originates in the passion I feel for this team and each thing it stands for."
The player signed for Madrid from his former club in 2018 for a significant fee and has notched over a century of strikes in numerous matches.
But his future in the Madrid is unclear with reports in recent months indicating that Real would think about permitting the young star move on if they obtained a suitable offer.
When Vinicius was substituted on that day, broadcast footage from network the service captured him stating: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I depart, I'm moving on."
In his most recent message on the platform, Vinicius commented: "I commit to keep fighting every second for the good of the club, as I have done since the initial arrival."
